  Family involvement is a key to the success for Deggeller Attractions as they had a triumphant march through 2007. The carnival had the opportunity to play their hometown fair in Stuart, Florida, for the 21st consecutive year.

  Talk a walk “Down Memory Lane” and view some of the highly decorated trucks that were used to transport Childress Shows.

  Do you remember the Mack Hit in 2000? One of these thrill rides used to be part of the rides available on Nova Expositions and then it was acquired by Wade Shows.

  IAAPA returned to Orlando in 2007 for the annual Attractions Expo. Over 1100 companies exhibited a broad array of products and services available to the amusement industry.

  It might be cold outside, but the activity at the Gillette Shows winter quarters was at a frenzied pitch as the carnival prepped rides and equipment for the upcoming season.

  Manufacturer’s Showcase puts the spotlight on a Gold Medal Products’ Pop About Popper, which features acrylic front and side panels. Fabbri Group has introduced the Vortex to the American market and one of its first appearances will be on the Powers Great American Midways’ lot this season. Also, C. Cretors and Company offers the Echols line of high-speed ice shavers, and The Broaster Company has announced the availability of pork loin back ribs in barbecue sauce.

  Experiencing problems with ride equipment while on the road, then check out the listing provided by Tri County Services of some of the repair work done in 2007.

  The North Carolina/South Carolina fairs associations combined annual meeting in Myrtle Beach benefited those involved with the industry; and an auction also provided needed monies for higher education.

  The Now Booking for 2008 section provides the opportunity to check out the carnivals and concessions that may be available for booking your event

  Pack Your Bags features a list of a number of state and industry-related meetings, trade shows, and events
