Coming in November 2007:
- For the second year in a row, Illinois-based Fantasy Amusements fielded the midway at the Kane County Fair, an annual event held in July.
- There was a new look at the 2007 Orange County Fair in Middletown, New York, where the Strates Shows set up the midway for the first time. New promotions were also on deck for the annual event.
- Michigan fun events and Wade Shows go hand in hand and the carnival had a busy season bringing their midway to numerous fairs and festivals across the state.
- Starbucks on the midway! Connie Warner has taken this sought after beverage line out of the stores and into the fun zone.
- The History of Train Shows covers some of the back end shows from the early 1950s that were booked on Cetlin & Wilson Shows.
- Do you remember German manufacturer Schwarzkopf’s Bob-Sleds-style ride Bayern Kurve? The 16 cars swung freely back and forth on a circular track
- Manufacturer’s Showcase puts the spotlight on C. Cretors & Company and their Brick Lined Candy Stove; Port-A-Cool’s portable evaporative cooling units; Gold Medal Products compact Conveyor Toaster Oven; and Vito Blake’s Junction Box Cover.
- Down Memory Lane offers scenes from Georgia Amusements, a show owned by the late Doc Harden.
- Congratulations to Shelby Royal, who is being honored as the Miami Showmen’s Association Showman of the Year!
- Route Snapshots spotlights Helm & Sons at two California events.
- The Pack Your Bags section provides a list of a number of state and industry-related meetings, trade shows, and events
- The Now Booking for 2008 section provides the opportunity to check out the carnivals and concessions that may be available for booking your event.
