The State Fair of Louisiana is in the process of selecting a new midway provider. Lowery Carnival had provided the midway for the past 7 years. Proposals were requested from six carnivals including Belle City Amusements, Crabtree Amusements, Deggeller Attractions, Goldstar Amusements, North American Midway Entertainment, and Wade Shows. Proposals from each show must be submitted by February 13 when the next phase of the review process begins. This year marks the 105^th edition of the State Fair of Louisiana. The event will be held October 25 through November 11.
